My FaV SoNg......... (Not alone- Red)

                                                                "Not Alone"

Slowly fading away
You're lost and so afraid
Where is the hope in a world so cold
Looking for a distant light
Someone who could save a life
You're living in fear that no one will hear your cries
Can you save me now

I am with you
I will carry you through it all
I won't leave you I will catch you
When you feel like letting go
Cause your not, your not alone

Your heart is full of broken dreams
Just a fading memory
And everything's gone but the pain carries on
Lost in the rain again
When will it ever end
The arms of relief seem so out of reach
But I, I am here

I am with you
I will carry you through it all
I won't leave you I will catch you
When you feel like letting go
Cause your not, your not alone

And I'll be your hope when you feel like its over
And I will pick you up when your whole world shatters
And when you're finally in my arms
Look up and see love has a face

I am with you
I will carry you through it all
I won't leave you I will catch you
When you feel like letting go
Cause you're not, you're not alone

And I will be your hope
And I will pick you up
And I will be your hope
And I will be your hope

Slow fading away
Your lost and so afraid
Where is the hope in a world so cold

Bible Verses -- About You!

God speaksYou are very special. You are not here by accident. Want proof?
God talks about each one of us in the Bible, in His own Words.
He wants you to know:
  • how much you are loved
  • you are here for a special reason
  • you are unique (redheads too)
  • no one else means more to Him than you.

    BIBLE VERSES

“And yet, O Lord, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are the potter. We all are formed by your hand.” (Isaiah 64:8)

    Newborn baby
Pregnant belly"You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous – how well I know it.
You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.
How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered!” (Ps. 139:13-17)

[Jesus speaking...]“Beware that you don't look down on any of these little ones [children]. For I tell you that in heaven their angels are always in the presence of my heavenly Father." (Matthew 18:10)

You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord. (Psalm 139:2-4)

[Jesus speaking..] “What is the price of 5 sparrows – 2 copper coins? Yet God does not forget a single one of them. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid. .. you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.” (Luke 12:6)

“Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers.” (I Timothy 4:12)

“God created human beings in His own image. In the image of God, He created them. Because you are made in God’s image, you are a reflection of His glory and valuable. God loves you and made you to be like Him.(Genesis 1:27)

“For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son [Jesus], so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life”(John 3:16

"God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son [Jesus] into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love – not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.”
    (1 John 4:9-10

(All Bible verses are from the 'New Living Translation' Second Edition.)
....If you want to read more about this God who loves you, find a Bible translation you can understand easily, such as this version (NLT), and start reading in the New Testament of the Bible with the book of John or Luke and even the Psalms. Ask God to reveal Himself to you through the Bible verses and see what happens :) !! -- If this is new to you, Bible verses are found in the Old and New Testaments using chapter and verse numbers. So, Luke 1:2 means the book of Luke, chapter 1, verse 2.)

    International Justice Mission, HELP PLEASE!

Recently I met a new friend on twitter and he has a very important mission and thats to STOP child molestation and also drug usage by youth, i have a very big passion for children and wanted to do research to see how i can help this cause, and came across this website http://www.ijm.org and there are all sorts of ways to get involved and help, they are the Internasional Justice Mission.

    Who They Are

    About IJM

International Justice Mission is a human rights agency that brings rescue to victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression. IJM lawyers, investigators and aftercare professionals work with local officials to secure immediate victim rescue and aftercare, to prosecute perpetrators and to ensure that public justice systems - police, courts and laws - effectively protect the poor.
Our Vision: To rescue thousands, protect millions and prove that justice for the poor is possible. ™
IJM's justice professionals work in their communities in 13 countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America to secure tangible and sustainable protection of national laws through local court systems.

    IJM Collaborative Casework

IJM investigators, lawyers and social workers intervene in individual cases of abuse in partnership with state and local authorities to ensure proper support for the victim and appropriate action against the perpetrator. Such collaboration is essential to obtain convictions against individual perpetrators and to bring meaning to local laws that are meaningless if not enforced. Learn more about the work of IJM.

    History

Founded in 1997, IJM began operations in response to a massive need. Historically, humanitarian and missions organizations worked faithfully and courageously to bring healthcare, education, food and other vital services to those who needed them. But little had been done to actually restrain the oppressors who are a source of great harm to the vulnerable.
Concerned by this need, a group of lawyers, human rights professionals and public officials launched an extensive study of the injustices witnessed by overseas missionaries and relief and development workers. This study, surveying more than 65 organizations and representing 40,000 overseas workers, uncovered a nearly unanimous awareness of abuses of power by police and other authorities in the communities where they served. Without the resources or expertise to confront the abuse and to bring rescue to the victims, these overseas workers required the assistance of trained public justice professionals.
Gary Haugen, working as a lawyer at the U.S. Department of Justice and as the United Nations' Investigator in Charge in the aftermath of the Rwandan genocide, founded International Justice Mission as a response to this massive need. Today, IJM has grown to more than 300 professionals working in their own communities to fight injustice.

    IJM's Response Today

Through individual casework, IJM confronts aggressive human violence: violence that strips widows and orphans of their property and livelihoods, violence that steals dignity and health from children trafficked into forced prostitution, violence that denies freedom and security to families trapped in slavery.
Violence against the poor is not driven by the overwhelming power of the perpetrators – it is driven by the vulnerability of the victims. This violence can be stopped when the power of the law is brought to bear on behalf of those who need it, and when people of good will contribute their financial and professional resources to insisting it stop.
IJM's casework model combats victimization and violence on the level of the individual, and supports functioning public justice systems where the poor urgently need an advocate.

    Core Commitments

In the tradition of heroic Christian leaders like abolitionist William Wilberforce and transformational leaders like Mother Teresa and Martin Luther King, Jr., IJM's staff stand against violent oppression in response to the Bible's call to justice (Isaiah 1:17): Seek justice, rescue the oppressed, defend the orphan, plead for the widow.
IJM seeks to restore to victims of oppression the things that God intends for them: their lives, their liberty, their dignity, the fruits of their labor. By defending and protecting individual human rights, IJM seeks to engender hope and transformation for those it serves and restore a witness of courage in places of oppressive violence. IJM helps victims of oppression regardless of their religion, ethnicity, or gender.

    Moving Forward

IJM has seen significant progress in its fight against oppression and injustice in the past 10 years, and remains committed to expanding its work in the next decade.
IJM continues to build networks with aftercare and other social service and government providers to ensure long-term care of clients. IJM will continue to secure prosecutions of perpetrators and contribute to positive structural change through on-the-ground involvement with the casework, courts and people of local justice systems around the world. Jesus Loves....

a Few days ago I saw this picture and at first I was quit upset until I really thought about it, its true you know, Jesus does Love them, just as much as He loves me and you.
These words do not define that person but rather their behavior, but whats the difference between them repenting, and me? NONE there is no difference , if it comes from your hart and you are truly sorry about it, and will not do it again, Jesus will FORGIVE!!
Who are we to Judge, when its not our right, not our place, Jesus did not Judge, He loves no matter what your sin, He will take it away and leave you spotless....
Remember God picked you on purpose. He's not surprised by you because He chose you! Nothing you can say or do will catch Him off guard, He know what your thinking even before you did, He knows what your going to do next even before you do, still He love you just as you are because He created you, He thought you out, He counted the hairs on your head and breathed His breath into you to create live! He even engraved His love on your heart to show to the world.
So don't judge and reject people because their behavior is as above, but rather show them the love of God, Jesus and turn the light on in their hearts.

    What Jesus looked like??

    What Jesus Looked Like

No one will really know, but what does the Bible say?:

    Revelation 1:15 ESV

His feet were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace, and his voice was like the roar of many waters.

    Revelation 1:13-14 ESV

And in the midst of the lampstands one like a son of man, clothed with a long robe and with a golden sash around his chest. The hairs of his head were white, like white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire,

    1 John 4:1 ESV

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.

    Hebrews 12:1 ESV

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

    Luke 21:25 ESV

“And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves,

    Romans 5:8 ESV

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

    Acts 2:1-47 ESV

When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men from every nation under heaven. ...

    Luke 21:16 ESV

You will be delivered up even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and some of you they will put to death.

    Luke 15:7 ESV

Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.

    Mark 16:4 ESV

And looking up, they saw that the stone had been rolled back—it was very large.

    Mark 13:9 ESV

“But be on your guard. For they will deliver you over to councils, and you will be beaten in synagogues, and you will stand before governors and kings for my sake, to bear witness before them.

    Matthew 27:35 ESV

And when they had crucified him, they divided his garments among them by casting lots.

    Matthew 7:22 ESV

On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’

    Matthew 7:13 ESV

“Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many.

    Daniel 12:11 ESV

And from the time that the regular burnt offering is taken away and the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be 1,290 days.

    Daniel 12:1 ESV

“At that time shall arise Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone whose name shall be found written in the book.

    Daniel 10:13 ESV

The prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days, but Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I was left there with the kings of Persia,

    Isaiah 6:2 ESV

Above him stood the seraphim. Each had six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.

    Psalm 14:1 ESV

To the choirmaster. Of David. The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds, there is none who does good.

    Genesis 6:4 ESV

The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown.

    Revelation 20:2-5 ESV

And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while. Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection.

    Revelation 13:8 ESV

And all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain.

    Revelation 12:14 ESV

But the woman was given the two wings of the great eagle so that she might fly from the serpent into the wilderness, to the place where she is to be nourished for a time, and times, and half a time.

    Revelation 12:7-9 ESV

Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.

    1 John 5:11 ESV

And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

    1 John 2:27 ESV

But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him.

    1 Peter 3:21 ESV

Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

What was Jesus like as a Person?

    Jesus Praying Gethsemane Mormon

Jesus Christ was perfect, and by studying what type of person He was, we can shape our own lives to be more like His.
One quality we see throughout the limited accounts we have is that Jesus was very focused on the needs of others. He noticed needs even when those in need didn’t openly ask for help and was always prepared to help, regardless of how tired he was or how busy.
Let’s look at a few examples from His life to see what sort of person he was.

    Obedient

Perhaps the most important quality Jesus demonstrated was obedience to His Father in Heaven. This obedience was borne out of love, both for God and for us. He demonstrated that obedience every day of His mission, including the day He was baptized.
When Jesus approached his cousin, John the Baptist, about being baptized, John was hesitant. He knew baptism was, in part, for the remission of sins, and Jesus had lived a sinless life. However, Jesus explained to him that baptism was a commandment and He needed to obey it. Even though it might not have been necessary for Him, He chose not to make an exception of Himself, and kept every commandment, even those designed for those of us who were less perfect.
The extent of His obedience was tested just after His baptism, when Satan tried to tempt Him into sinning, effectively ending His mission before it began. Without success, Satan taunted Jesus to turn rocks into stone because He was hungry. He then tried to convince Jesus to jump off the top of the temple and command angels to save Him, in order to prove He was who He said He was. This was to use pride as a temptation. Finally, he offered Jesus power and glory if he’d worship Satan instead of God. Jesus easily refused all three, ordering Satan to leave. There were no rewards or worldly honors that could sway Him from His purpose.

    Love of Children

The New Testament tells the story of a group of parents who brought their children to see Jesus. They arrived late, however, and Jesus had already put in a very long day. His apostles told the parents to leave, because Jesus was tired. Jesus overheard them and asked the children to come to Him, despite His tiredness. It is likely he thought ahead to how hard it was going to be to live as a Christian in the difficult years ahead, and knew they would find it easier if they’d spent time with Him in person. He took some extra time to help them grow up Christian.
Throughout His ministry, Jesus talked about children and warned people to treat them well and to care for them, physically and spiritually.

    Humility

The Savior had every reason to be proud of the enormous task He had undertaken and the tremendous sacrifices that would occur. He never demonstrated that in His life or in His teachings. From the premortal moment when He offered himself to God’s service, to the end of His life, He continued to give the praise to God, understating His own role in our eternal salvation. He often asked people to give the honor to His Father, and explained that He did nothing of Himself, but simply did what God asked Him to do.

    Compassion and Love

When John the Baptist, Jesus’ cousin, was beheaded, Jesus grieved. He took a ship away from the people to a deserted place to be alone, but His followers learned where He was and went after Him. Putting aside His grief, He took compassion on them and began healing their sick. Finally, after a long day, the disciples wanted to send everyone away because there was no food there, but Jesus performed a miracle and fed them before they left. Only then, after everyone was cared for and healed did He finally go off alone to pray.
Jesus set an example of compassion and sacrifice. He never turned people away who really needed Him, even in His greatest hours of sadness.

    Sacrifice

The greatest example of the Savior’s character came in the final days of His ministry, when He did what He came to do. He went into the Garden of Gethsemane, and for the first time in His life, experienced all the pain and agony of sin, magnified over anything we could feel, because He took on Himself the sin of every person who ever lived or would live on the earth. This was so painful He had to be sustained by angels at times, and he sweated blood.
    M. Russell Ballard, a Mormon apostle, said, “The picture we often see of the Savior kneeling in the Garden of Gethsemane can’t begin to help us understand what the Savior endured that day for us, the day He took on our sins and began the process of becoming our redeemer. He endured a pain greater than any of us can imagine, and He did it alone. His friends were asleep. His earthly familywasn’t there. His Father in Heaven withdrew and did not-could not for our sakes-intercede. This was something the Savior had to do alone, just for us, without help, and He did. He could have stopped it. He could have turned away from the pain and suffering, and gone back out into the world, but He didn’t. He stayed and gave us the redemption from our sins. President Hinckley said, “He lives, the Savior and Redeemer of all mankind, whose Atonement came as an act of grace for the entire world. … He has done for us what we could not do for ourselves. He has brought meaning to our mortal existence. He has given us the gift of eternal life. … God be thanked for the gift of His Son, the Redeemer of the world, the Savior of mankind, the Prince of Life and Peace, the Holy One” (“A Testimony of the Son of God,” Liahona and Ensign, Dec. 2002, 4-5).
What was the Savior like as a person? He was everything Heavenly Father is, and everything Heavenly Father wanted Him to be. He was kind, hard-working, compassionate, obedient to His Father, thoughtful of His earthly family, and completely focused on doing good every moment of His day. He lived a life that all of us can emulate as we strive to become more God-like and Christ-like in our own lives.

    Easter Bunny and egg?!

    The Easter Bunny

The Easter Bunny is believed to be from German folklore, when a goddess of the spring named Eostre saved a bird whose wings had frozen during the winter by turning it into a rabbit. Since the rabbit has once been a bird, it could still lay eggs.
Some people have begun calling the Easter Bunny the "spring bunny" to remove any religious conotations from the holiday. Good luck with that!
It is a tradition with some families to leave out carrots for the Easter Bunny, much like cookies and milk are left out for Santa.

    Easter Eggs

Easter eggs are given to celebrate the holiday. Traditionally they are first decorated using dyes or paint.
More recently plastic eggs are becoming common, with candy or surprises being placed within the egg.

How did the Easter bunny and egg become part of a religious holiday?

Quite a few pagan cultures hold celebrations in the spring. It's the time of year when plants return to life after being dormant all winter and when animals mate and procreate. These festivities celebrate the renewal of life and promote the fertility of crops, animals, and even people, which was important in these agrarian communities. The Saxons believed in a maiden goddess of fertility named Eastre or Eostre (Oestre in Latin) and honored her with a spring festival. Hares and rabbits were considered sacred to Eastre because they are notoriously fertile animals.
In the second century A.D., Christian missionaries tried to convert northern European tribes. To help make Christianity attractive, the missionaries turned pagan festivals into Christian holidays. The pagan Eastre festival occurred around the same time as the Christian celebration marking Christ's resurrection so the two celebrations blended into one, rabbit and all.
Over time, Eastre became Easter, and the symbolism changed as well. Instead of the Easter rabbit symbolizing fertility, the rabbit maysymbolize an innocent, vulnerable creature that can be sacrificed, similar to the lamb. To Christians, these innocents are tokens of Christ and the sacrifice he made.
The Easter bunny we know today was influenced by German traditions dating back to the 1500s. German children believed that theOschter Haws (a magical rabbit) would leave them a nest of colored eggs at Eastertime if they were good. Pennsylvania Dutch settlers brought this tradition to America in the 1700s.
On a related note, eggs have long been a symbol of rebirth and thus associated with spring celebrations. In the 600s, Pope Gregory the Great forbade the eating of eggs during Lent (the 40 days proceeding Easter), and this helped make eggs a special treat at Easter. Many European cultures also have old customs of decorating eggs and giving them as gifts.
